More than a dozen HDA Board members and colleagues traveled to Washington, D.C., last week to meet with members of Congress and their staff during the association’s second annual "Hill Day." During 18 concurrent meetings across the Capitol, lawmakers and staff heard firsthand about the important role healthcare distributors play in ensuring the safe and reliable movement of pharmaceuticals for patients nationwide. In addition to discussing the overall value of distribution, HDA members spoke about how the industry is helping to mitigate the risk and impact of drug shortages, among other topics.
